City of Kawartha Lakes
The Victoria Rail Trail is a 55 km multi-use trail that travels from Lindsay through Cameron, the Village of Fenelon Falls, Burnt River and on to Kinmount. The trail continues on another 37 km past Kinmount to the Village of Haliburton and extends south of Linsday 25 kms. to Dranoel Junction near Bethany.
The City of Kawartha Lakes encompasses the area formerly known as Victoria County.

In addition to its picturesque rolling hills, bird filled forests and beautiful waterways, the area is rich in railway heritage, which offers some remnants of a bygone era, such as the train stations in Fenelon Falls and Kinmount.
